Both Winning and shortlisted entries will be exhibited at the end of the year in Singapore and also be published in the December Photo Annual Edition of ASIAN Geographic Magazine.

This is only the second year we've run the Asia Without Borders Photographic Competition, so the number of entries are still lower than the more established, international photographic competitions, We hope to match them soon, but for now your odds of winning are higher than usual.

Running a high quality, international photographic competition requires significant investment in both time and money. This year we've also added online entry and marketing which requires further resources.

Our fee's have been set as low as possible and we hope they are not a barrier to entry for most people.

Charging a small fee helps us to keep the quality of the competition high by attracting serious contenders that upload higher quality entries. This also helps us to attract quality photograhy professionals to our panel of judges.

It will make each entrant choose well and edit down there images to only the best and ultimately these are the images everyone likes to see; other entrants, the editors, the judges and the public.

We don't recommend posting your images to us because the online entry method has been designed to make your life easier and allows you to update your contact details or change the images you've entered at anytime before the competition closing date.

Also if you are one of the finalists we will request a high resolution version of the selected image which can be easily uploaded to this competition website.

However, if you don't have access to an internet connected computer and would still like to take part, please follow the instructions below;

There is no charge for entering by post. However, you are limited to a maximum of ONE (1) image submission per category.

All entries must be received before the deadline date of 30 September 2009. Please print out the entry form, making sure to fill out all applicable questions. Photo submissions accompanied by an incomplete form will be disqualified.

Attach the entry form with your CD/DVDs and send the package to:

The photograph must not, in the sole and unfettered discretion of the Sponsors, contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content. When photographing the work of others, it must be as an object in its environment and not a full-frame close up of another person's art.
